“A dining environment where Chinese culinary heritage meets contemporary spatial design.”
Zuan Yuan at One World Hotel is one of Malaysia's most celebrated Chinese fine-dining destinations. The brief required a space that honoured the tradition of the cuisine while speaking to a clientele with global design sensibilities.
GA Design created an interior that draws on classical Chinese compositional principles: layered symmetry, controlled materiality, and the considered use of negative space, without resorting to pastiche.
The result is a dining room that feels timeless: rooted in something real, yet entirely of the present.
